Each chapter ends with a discussion question and a comprehensive quiz that will help you master the subject matter and prepare for your final examination. Chapters are broken down into approximately 20 smaller sections, each with a corresponding progress question that must be answered to move on to the next section.  Each chapter ends with a Discussion Question and a comprehensive Chapter Quiz. You must    log-in and answer the homework assignment in one chapter before progressing to the next. Upon submission of the last chapter assignment, you will be provided with a link to the final examination.

Note: The course final exam is based upon the subject matter emphasized by the homework questions. The Department of Real Estate prohibits us from making homework questions and final exam questions the same; however, the homework does give you a preview of the final exam.

IMPORTANT: This is a Department of Real Estate Regulation

The DRE allows this course to be completed in a MINIMUM time of 2 1/2 weeks (18 calendar days) from your date of enrollment. The MAXIMUM time we allow for completion of the course is one year from the date of enrollment. You will find the expiration date of this course in the upper right corner of the cover of this workbook.

The 2 1/2 week rule dictates how quickly you can take the final exam and complete each course. For example, the absolute fastest you can complete two courses is 5 weeks. REMEMBER, the rule is 2 1/2 weeks (18 calendar days) from the date of enrollment for each course. If you still have questions about how fast you can complete your course(s), please call the school for clarification.


Final Examination and Passing the Course

In order for you to pass this course, you will be required to take and pass an online final examination which must be graded by the AA Real Estate School. To pass this course you must score70% or better which means correctly answering 70 or more questions correctly of 100 multiple-choice questions. Each question is based upon the text material. The final examination is an OPEN BOOK TEST.


What Happens If You Fail The Final Exam?

If you fail the course final examination, you will be given an opportunity to re-take the exam until you pass. However, you must wait 2 1/2 weeks (18 calendar days) before you can retake the exam (This is a DRE regulation). If you are taking your final exam at a monitor and it is necessary to have your final exam sent again for a re-take, there will be a charge of $7.00 S/H to have your exam mailed again.

 

Transcript

Your course completion certificate will be furnished by the school at no additional charge. If you are taking more than one course, we will furnish one course completion certificate at the conclusion of your last course, showing all courses completed.

Textbook Editions Are Subject To Change without Notice

Periodically, a new edition of an existing textbook will be published.  If your course is approaching its expiration date and you wish to apply for a three-month extension, you will be required to purchase the current edition of the textbook if the book has changed (new books are $45.00 ea.). Textbook editions are subject to change without notice.


Extension Policy

Should you not be able to complete this course within one (1) year of the date of enrollment, (for any reason, no exceptions), you may extend your enrollment for a period of Three months for $25.00 or one year for the full course fee. If you extend for three months, you have three months from the original expiration date of your course(s). If you extend for one year, you have one year from the date of re-enrollment. REMEMBER, if the textbook edition has changed, you will be required to purchase the current book (New books are $45.00 ea.). 

Course Completion

Completion of a course includes taking and passing the course final examination. The final examination must be taken not later than the last day of the course enrollment period.


Refund Policy

If for any reason you decide to cancel your enrollment in ten days, we will issue a refund (less a $25 registration fee per course and shipping & handling, if there is any) if cancellation occurs by midnight of the 10th business day after the date of enrollment. No refund will be issued after the above mentioned time period. If you paid by credit card, your account will be credited within 30 days.

All test books and workbooks must be returned to the school, in good and usable condition*, within 10 days of the date of cancellation. If you do not return the material supplied by the school within this 10-day period, the school will deduct the amount of the unreturned books and workbooks from your refund.

* Good and usable condition means that the workbook is unmarked (except as marked by the school) and the text, if ordered, is unmarked and undamaged by shipping. It shall be the student's responsibility to package and ship the course material in such a manner as to assure compliance.

SPECIAL NOTE: The above refund policy does not include textbooks that are no longer current. This means that if the book has changed, it will not be considered when calculating your refund. Textbooks are subject to change without notice.

This concludes the instructions for this course. We have tried to be as thorough as possible. However, should here be any questions, please call the school rather than guessing or remaining in doubt. Call Monday through Friday between 9:30 am and 4:30 pm.
